Diversity

Our commitment to a diverse and
inclusive workforce is best illustrated by the fact that Cofinimmo
is one of the 17 companies in Brussels to have signed up to the
"Diversity Plans" and one of the 4 to have received the official
"Diversity label". This is an initiative of the Economy and
Employment Minister of the Brussels-Capital Region. In-house, this
approach is endorsed by a Charter. In terms of age groups
considered to be subject to discrimination, 6% of the Cofinimmo
staff are under 26 years of age and 22% over 46.
Nurturing talent
Our company constantly strives to
develop the talents and skills of our staff making them true
experts in their respective fields. By way of exemple, recently,
Cofinimmo won the Award of "Most innovative Legal
Department of the Year 2010". This prize rewards a legal
department which has contributed to the awareness within its
company or group of companies of important legal matters or
compliance with law.

Over 89% of our staff attended one
or more training courses in 2009, representing a total of 4,300
hours and a budget equivalent to approaching 2.5% of the total
gross salary bill. These opportunities are made available to all
staff. Some 620 training days are allocated for our staff, of which
around 50 typically focus on environmental topics, energy
performance of buildings and sustainable development.
